As a partner in the Palo Alto office of Haynes and Boone, LLP and practices in the areas of corporate and securities law, domestic and international tax, mergers and acquisitions, and fund formation, and launching cancer therapy startups I have been an instructor or professor of legal, tax and business topics for the Center for International Studies in Salzburg, Austria, as well as the Golden Gate University School of Law and Stanford Continuing Studies.
Roger Royse Law
Roger Royse works with companies including cancer therapy startups ranging from newly formed tech startups to publicly traded multinationals in a variety of industries. He regularly advises on complex tax structuring, high stakes business negotiations, and large international financial transactions.
The Royse Foundation is a Palo Alto based 501(c)(3) organization that supports selected charitable causes through fundraising, events and donations. In 2012, the Royse Foundation created the campaign “Motion to Dismiss Cancer” to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in support of Roger Royse’s successful 2012 LLS Man of the Year campaign. As part of that campaign, Team Motion to Dismiss Cancer and the Foundation staged numerous local events, including a concert, fashion show, 5K race, Zumba-thon and several VC auctions, all of which are described online at www.M2DCancer.com. The Royse Foundation also promotes causes that advance the development of sustainable agriculture, food production and emerging technologies and sponsors the Silicon Valley AgTech Conference.
